North Carolina Society of Certified Public Managers®
The North Carolina Society of Certified Public Managers (NCSCPM) exists to promote fellowship and cooperation in public service, to provide training for the advancement of managerial abilities, to establish standards of performance for managers in public services, to encourage recognition of public management, and to assist agencies in public and private service.
The NCSCPM works closely with the North Carolina Certified Public Manager® Program which operates out of the Office of State Human Resources. The charge of the CPM Program is to provide an in-depth, comprehensive, competency-based, nationally certified development program for middle managers within North Carolina from state, federal, tribal, and local government agencies and public universities. Graduates of the CPM Program are designated as Certified Public Managers®, which is recognized by the National Certified Public Manager® Consortium consisting of over 40 CPM programs in the US and abroad.
